Ember & Glass operates as a dry hire mobile bar service, meaning we provide professional bartending, bar setup, and service but do not supply, sell, or purchase alcohol under any circumstances.

In accordance with Ontario regulations and AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) guidelines, the following requirements apply to all events:

The client (event host) is solely responsible for:

• Supplying all alcohol for the event
• Ensuring all alcohol is legally purchased and available on-site prior to service
• Providing any necessary permits required for the service of alcohol (such as a Special Occasion Permit, if applicable)

By booking Ember & Glass, the client acknowledges that:

• Ember & Glass is not responsible for the purchase, supply, or overconsumption of alcohol
• The host assumes full responsibility for all alcohol provided at the event
• All service is conducted in compliance with Ontario laws and responsible service practices

It is the responsibility of the host to:

• Obtain any required permits for alcohol service in advance of the event
• Ensure the event is compliant with all local laws and venue requirements
• Provide proof of permits upon request prior to the event date

Proof of host liquor liability insurance is required for all events.

This ensures protection for both the host and guests in the event of alcohol-related incidents. Documentation may be requested prior to confirmation of services.

All Ember & Glass bartenders are certified, experienced, and committed to responsible alcohol service.

We strictly adhere to Smart Serve guidelines and reserve the right to:

• Refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated
• Decline service in situations that may pose a risk to guests, staff, or the event
• Slow or stop alcohol service if required to maintain a safe environment

While the responsibility of alcohol supply remains with the host, our role is to ensure that service is carried out professionally, safely, and seamlessly, so your event remains both elevated and well-managed from start to finish.
